Enhancing Equal Opportunities and Benefits for Women and Men in Implementing Hospital Management Information Systems

This case study is part of a wider publication that explores issues of gender in ICT4D called "Promoting Equal Chances for Women and Men to Use and Benefit from ICT-enabled Solutions". This case study is based on research conducted with Tanzanian organisation AfyaC4C investigating their experiences with gender dyanmics in implementing electronic Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) in hospitals and health facilities aroundTanzania's Lake Zone.
