Connecting medical specialists in rural hospitals: Lessons learned from the telemedicine project in Tanzania

This brief describes the lessons learned from the telemedicine project implemented by Tanzania's Evangelical Lutheran Church Tanzania (ELCT) and supported by IICD and Cordaid. It describes the use of the iPath platform, the approach to capacity building for participating hospitals and facilities, and the knowledge sharing activities that formed part of the change management process.
