Computerisation Kinondoni: A five year learning process

This project learning brief describes the lessons learned from the Kinondoni e-governance project in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, one of the earliest initiatives that used ICTs to computerise municipal records on education, health, and birth, marriage and death registration. Key elements of the project was: improved data and workflows, enhanced storage and accessibility of data, and improved data analysis and decision making at district level.
